This is a short read that has a lot of good advice in it. I particularly enjoyed reading the chapter on storytelling. I know that I will be rereading that information. The key points: Celebrate Your Ideas, Stay flexible, Build Your Support Network, Take Action. These are excellent points that are inspiring and don’t seem overwhelming or impossible. Makes me want to ”Just Do It!”

This book provides a real taste of what it's like to go from a crazy napkin idea to a product that can be made into a business. There is no pretense here promising you your idea will work. I like the fact that the author talks about reality and suggests you try your idea in small stages and do a cheap prototype, nothing expensive or elaborate.

We all wish we had the foresight to think up a "pet rock" type novelty and knew it would sell. If you're looking for this type of short-cut, this is not your book. However, if you are looking for a concrete action plan for an existing idea, this is it. "From Napkin to Reality" outlines the mindset and the steps to take any idea to launch and beyond.
